Psychic Intuition – Secrets of the Human Mind

Friday, July 30th, 2010

We are well aware that the human mind holds untapped intelligence. What is it? How does it work? Those are the things that we do not know. It can be that small voice that speaks to only you, giving you advance information. It can be the hunch that tells you to play certain numbers in the weekly lottery. It can be ideas that come to you during sleep. It is the instant knowing something previously unknown, without any words being spoken. It has been called the “sixth sense”, or ESP (Extra Sensory Perception).

Those moments of psychic intuition are open to our own interpretation. There is nothing to define them in our scope of human knowledge. Our scientific world has no concrete data to describe the phenomenon that is capable of accessing vast fields of knowledge, ideas and inspirations. There are some cultures that consider experiencing this power a spiritual and divine event. But, there is no way of knowing why some people have it and some don’t. The insights are mysterious and elusive. There are many people who seek to harness their “special powers”.

Psychic intuition usually comes when the mind is at rest, free from the thoughts that invade from our hectic world. Those who are attempting to develop this source of knowledge usually follow techniques of meditation. When the mind is allowed to wander, inspiration may come in the form of a feeling, a mental picture, or specific words. Developing your intuition takes practice, forbearance and persistence. For some, it may be a skill that is never mastered at all. For centuries, man has been mystified and perplexed by the concept of the untapped power of the human mind.

ESP can influence us on a daily basis. It can influence our views of the world and our relationships with one another. It can influence decisions we make in our personal and business lives. It can influence our fears and anxieties. Whether we disregard demonstrations of psychic intuition, accept them or actually attempt to develop them – most of us are intrigued by the concept of ESP. The unknown realm of the human mind fascinates us. We talk about it, we write about it, we read about it, and we watch movies about it. The “sixth sense” exists and continues to baffle mankind. Perhaps sometime in the future will we finally find the key that unlocks the answer to the mystery of the mind.

Brainwashing to the Detriment of Truth

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Now then. This is important! Unless you’re both very much in love in the normal course of your lives, do not under any circumstance take your beloved for a walk across a swinging rope bridge high above the ground, or spanning a deep gorge.

I’m not joking. Promise! Researchers have found that young men and women find each other much more attractive in such conditions.

This was contained in a psychology paper I read. I have no idea who the researchers were, nor from whence they came, but I can’t help feeling they were pretty desperate for work! Still, there you are. You’ll thank me for that bit of information later!

The reasoning behind this is that both the raised heartbeat and emotions that they feel because of their somewhat precarious situation on the rope bridge, they put down to physical attraction. All right, let’s climb off our rope bridge and back onto solid ground again, shall we?

There’s a good way of persuading someone to believe something about you. Excite their emotions and shoot the idea across to them while they’re in an emotional state. I’m not saying you should reduce them to floods of tears, but make them excited about an idea you may have, perhaps.

In all seriousness, this is exactly what a skilled hypnotherapist will do. He or she will raise a patient’s emotions, so that they may implant good new ideas into their minds. They may have to clear out the old ideas first and if this is the case, then paradoxically the hypnotherapist may have to calm them down to do the clearing out before exciting them again to fix the new ideas.

Ordinary, everyday hypnosis, then, is quite unnecessary to brainwash people. The reason for this is that any idea that some leader might want to put across to the masses, be the idea good or dangerous, all he or she has to do is to excite their emotions with one fixed idea. Work their emotions up more and more, focusing on this one idea, and provided you focus this idea with more and more intensity, you have the crowd hypnotized.

That’s all it is. The crowd are hypnotized into a belief and of course from there, they go around, excitedly telling others, and before you know it, a very dangerous situation could have developed.

This is why it’s absolutely vital to ascertain where a certain belief came from.

I believe we discussed this the other day. Just because a million people believe something, does that necessarily make it correct? Again, this is why a good hypnotherapist will first examine whether the beliefs a patient has are truly his own, whether he has them because his family’s believed in them for generations, or whether someone’s deliberately implanted them into his mind.

Most importantly, of course, whether or not they’re dangerous to the patient

We know we have a laugh and a joke, but Mike Bond does rightly think it so necessary to explain how beliefs can be held to the detriment of truth. You’ll learn a lot more on his Website as well as being able to grab 2 FREE downloads on hypnosis simply by clicking on The Hypnosis Attraction

The Emotional Storm That Killed a Nation

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

A highly intelligent individual, but who’s nevertheless emotionally unstable, can possess all sorts of strange beliefs about themselves and other people. They’re the ones the cults pick on, because of this vulnerability. We ask; “How in heaven’s name could they possibly believe that rubbish?” But we miss the point.

It’s their emotions that persuade them to believe, not their intelligence. Remember that cult recruiters are experts at finding someone’s correct emotional buttons to press. If you could only sit them down, clear them of their emotion and describe the cult in an intelligent, rational way, then they’d no more think of joining the organization than fly.

This is the reason why hypnotherapists, when faced with a depressed person full to the brim with damaging beliefs, have to calm their minds and bodies before proceeding any further with them.

Actually, it’s only very recently in the West that psychologists have come to realize that believing something wholeheartedly may not be enough of a reason for believing it to be true. It’s so necessary to be able to consider a belief calmly, and then testing it to make quite sure that it is indeed true and not distorted by emotion.

Mind you, if you hold a belief strongly, it may very well be grounded on a good, sensible base. Unfortunately, it can work the other way too.

We can have a really strong belief in something, but it’s emotion-based. Even so, because the belief’s so strong, we cling to it to the bitter end. It can be based, not just inside cults, but in all cultures and in all societies.

I think most of us have had the experience of meeting someone, falling for them and for the first few weeks of careless rapture, see nothing wrong with the person whatsoever. Indeed, just the opposite. We exaggerate their positive attributes and sweep the negative ones under the carpet, even if we notice them at all.

Then, when the first blush is off the rose, we start to see the person for who they really are.

Now all the foregoing is parochial. When it can become dangerous is when it happens on a national scale. We saw this to a lesser extent with Princess Diana. In this case, no harm was done, partly because it was handled so magnificently by Her Majesty.

But I read recently a piece by a German gentleman who described the first time he heard Hitler speak. He noted, in part that “..he had the look of a fanatic.. and held the audience, including myself, under a hypnotic spell by the sheer force of his conviction.. ”

So the intensity and conviction of one man’s total belief held millions of people in thrall. It’s a terrifying thought, isn’t it?

One tiny, but intense spark given off by one man can inflame the emotions of a whole nation

The whole point of Mike Bond writing these articles is to try to help people understand how much better off they could be if they’d make sure that a strongly held belief is true. You can learn a lot more from his Website at The Hypnosis Attraction, not forgetting to collect your 2 FREE downloads

Beliefs and Justifications – The Unjustified and Unverified

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

We know that depression runs in families. Everyone thought that because of this, then depression must be genetic. Despite the odd occasion when the media becomes excited over an obtuse comment, no depression gene has ever been found.

The gentleman who may justly claim to be the world’s leading authority on depression, Dr. Michael Yapko, considers it very likely that families perpetuate depressive thinking attitudes, and that emotional contagion passes them along the generations until someone does something positive about it.

In other words, while family members are prepared to simply accept depression as a fact of life, then the condition passes along on its merry way from one generation to the next. However, once someone stands up and effectively yells; “Enough!” then the depressive chain is broken.

We should bear in mind that all of us, you and I included, are most attached to our beliefs. Unfortunately, not all our beliefs may be right. If we find ourselves faced by another belief that is totally correct, or even simply another viewpoint, we find this disturbing.

Indeed, some people find it more important to continue with a wrongly held belief than to grip hold of the new belief, the right one, and be guided into the correct lane. As we all know, politicians are famous for this.

They’ll come out stating a position that’s completely wrong, even senseless in some cases, but to turn around and say; “I was wrong. I made a mistake,” is more than most of them would even think of doing. The occasional one, yes, and he should be applauded.

Flexible people in any profession do correct their beliefs, as new and more accurate information comes along, but I’m afraid that many of us stick to first impressions.

There are certain quite unverified beliefs which are perfectly all right. For instance, I firmly believe that the sun will rise in the East again tomorrow. It’s done so ever since I’ve been alive, and somehow I don’t think it’ll frighten the lives out of us tomorrow and nip up over the Western horizon!

Provided the red light’s showing on my coffee pot, I’m sure of a hot cup of coffee. Talking about red lights, though, the time when danger signals should start to blink is when people hold strong, but injurious beliefs and try to justify them.

For instance, those people who advocate dog fighting. Their arguments are that it’s a sport and anyway, the dogs enjoy it. They’re fighting dogs. Or bullying, dressed up as initiation rites. Both these activities cause distress in one form or another and it’s here we should step forward and say that no belief, whatever the supposed justification, should be placed before cruelty to human or animal

Anyway, did anyone think of asking the dogs if they enjoy fighting? Hence the unjustified belief. Have a look at Mike Bond’s Website to learn a whole lot more on hypnosis and psychology. Oh, and don’t forget to collect your 2 FREE downloads by clicking onto The Hypnosis Attraction

Breaking Through Limitation – Making the Impossible Possible

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

We’re social creatures, we humans, and we look to one another to learn, what to be and what to expect, to greater or lesser degrees. Also, we tend to rely on the opinions of others as to what is, or what is not, possible.

Even if we consider ourselves to be the most independently minded of people, it’s certain that somewhere along the line, we’ve picked up the thoughts and opinions of others.

We may not even be aware of how these thoughts have influenced us, even that they exist at all. But they do exist, lurking there in the back of our minds.

Mark you, the beliefs of other people are important to us, but I’m not suggesting for one minute that we can’t be independent thinkers and doers in our own right. Of course we can, but we are affected by other people probably more than we think, so that breaking through the limitations i

This can be a very positive thing. For instance, the vast majority of people consider it wise to take malaria tablets if they propose to visit a malaria-ridden part of the world. Now, if we consider ourselves to be particularly independently minded, we could always decide to go against the popular view in this case, and go swanning off to the heart of darkest Africa without any malaria tablets, or any other precautionary medications.

But it really saves a great deal of time and discomfort to go with the crowd. This is an obvious example of the wisdom of obeying the majority belief. But equally, to always slavishly follow everyone else, can limit your capabilities.

We’ve touched on this before, as far as ambition’s concerned. You have this great idea for starting a business. From all your research, it’s a market that’s as yet untapped. Unfortunately, you make the mistake of telling friends and family about it, and they all tell you it would be a terrible mistake. Anyway, someone with far more money and expertise will come along and force you out.

So you find yourself agreeing with the majority viewpoint and what could have been a splendid money spinner, now lies in ashes round your feet, simply because you listened to other people.

On the 6th. of May, 1954, in front of 3000 people, Dr. Roger Bannister broke the four minute mile. He ran it in three minutes, fifty nine point four seconds. Up to that stage, it was thought that the human body was incapable of such a feat. But he proved the impossible possible.

The interesting part about all this, though, is that he didn’t just show it was physically possible, he also broke through the psychological barrier, too. The following year, no less that 37 other people ran the mile in under four minutes.

It’ll be interesting to see who breaks the two hour mark for the marathon. At the moment, it stands at 2 hours 3 minutes and 59 seconds.

Just as long as Mike Bond doesn’t go off thinking he’s a genius again! Now that’s really going against the crowd! But we must admit he has an excellent Website. Go and grab his 2 FREE downloads by clicking on The Hypnosis Attraction

Laughter Makes the World Go Round

Humour Can Be Serious

I thought we’d turn our attention to something a little lighter today. The study of humour. Serious study, of course. You know me. I never allow any levity to creep into my articles. Levity means laughter, and laughter induces loose morals. Need I go on?

But never dismiss humour. It’s a mistake. Under dictatorships, comedians are seen as a threat and humour’s always been banned. Now why should this be? A laughing population’s a happy population, surely? Ah, but how many dictators have you seen who laugh? Unless they’re wiping out a few million people, and even then it’s pretty grim laughter.

No, as far as monsters like this are concerned, humour’s banned because it shines the light of truth in all the dark corners, it breaks the shackles of narrow thinking and makes the self-important, figures of fun.

Humour shows a lack of fear and no tyrant can accept this. But the extraordinary thing is, that when you think about it, we all live in a dictatorship. We do. I’m not trying to be funny. We live under our own personal psychological dictatorships.

We box ourselves in with our limiting beliefs, make rules for ourselves which we consider unbreakable, that we’re inferior to other people and that life can’t possibly be good because if it was, then we wouldn’t have any more money worries and we’d have everything we wanted.

None of these bars we put up nor walls we build; none of them are real. We allow our minds to be our dictators. We could escape into that wonderful land of plenty with a little bit of effort and less fear of what other people may think about us.

Humour can help us. Not only does it lift the burden of stress which we, or others, place on ourselves, it gives us a different perspective on life.

It’s been known for a long time now, and I’m sure you’ve heard it too, that laughter can prolong life. In fact, laughter has a whole slew of health benefits that these days especially are our’s for the taking. I say ‘these days especially,’ because all we need do is to rent a comedy video or CD, take it home and laugh our heads off, doing ourselves a world of good in the process.

A good belly laugh is one of the best work-outs we can give ourselves. It’s a great stress reducer and floods us with endorphins, those natural feel-good hormones.

It’s most interesting to note how great leaders have always instinctively known when.. and when not.. to use humour.

I suppose the master of them all was Sir Winston Churchill, but Ronald Reagan and Lady Margaret Thatcher were pretty close behind him. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, they could come out with some beauties!

Dream Analysis – How Are Dreams Interpreted?

Monday, July 26th, 2010

Many people wonder how dreams can be interpreted. They think that dreams are confused images that can have many different meanings, depending on the dreamer who sees them in a dream. This concept it totally wrong. It was generated by false dream interpreters who never tried to discover the hidden code of the dream language.

Only Carl Jung could decipher this code and translate dream symbols into comprehensible words.

He saw that each time that the same dream symbol appears in a dream, it is showing exactly the same things to all dreamers. He concluded that the unconscious mind that produces our dreams created the dream language based on the repetition of images. These images are symbols, and they give us specific information.

In other words, each time a dreamer sees a certain dream symbol in a dream, this symbol has for him or her the same meaning it has for all the other dreamers who may see it in their dreams.

However, the effect that each dream symbol will have for each dreamer depends on his or her personality, and personal life.

Jung looked for the similarities within the symbolism in many dreams from different people.

He also found the same dream symbolism reflected in the art and religion of different civilizations. He studied the meaning that the symbols had for them and how it related back to dream symbolism. Lastly, he had to analyze the meaning of the symbolism contained in alchemy, and compare everything he had observed, until he could finally discover the hidden meaning of dreams.

I proved that he was right thanks to recent scientific discoveries in many different fields which confirmed the importance of the dream messages. I continued his research by following his method, and discovering more.

Later I simplified Jung’s complex and obscure method of dream interpretation, transforming it into an instant and clear method of dream translation from images into words.

Today everything is very well explained for you.

The dream language is simply a language made from images instead of words. When you replace the dream images with words that define their meaning, you understand the unconscious messages contained in the dream images. You can then have a direct communication with the wise unconscious mind.

The unconscious mind sends you protective messages in dreams, so that you may avoid falling into the traps set by the wild side of your conscience. It also helps you evolve as a human being.

All dream images are important. They all contain precious messages that help you overcome all mental illnesses, transform your personality, and solve any kind of problem.

You only have to learn the symbolic meaning of each dream image in order to understand the dream language. You’ll verify that when you translate the meaning of all the dream symbols that appear in a dream, and you relate this meaning to your personal life, you are guided by the unconscious wisdom.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to exactly translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

Are You a Stereotype?

Sunday, July 25th, 2010

A stereotype is a belief, nothing more, nothing less. Let’s say, just for example, that you’re 75 years old, retired and widowed. That’s what you’d tell me if I asked you who you were. Perhaps I’d ask you what hobbies you had.

“Well, I can’t knit or crochet because of my arthritis. I don’t do much reading, because the old eyesight’s going, and I don’t get out in the garden any more because I can’t bend down. I watch television most of the time.” So you’re an old lady who watches TV.

Suppose you have a daughter, who’s understandably and rightly, concerned about you. She may think you shouldn’t go into the garden alone in case you fall down. You shouldn’t read too much, because it’ll hurt your eyes, and knitting only makes your arthritis worse, she believes. So with the best will in the world, she’s conditioned you.

The poor woman’s trying to protect you, but she’s tethering you to a stereotype of your age. You’re not too badly off, not rich by any means, but you’ve plenty in the bank to buy yourself a computer. Ever thought of buying one?

This doesn’t apply just to ‘old people’ either. You can be any age and fall into a stereotype… if you allow it.

We’ve just had a look at one of the studies carried out by Helen Langer. Here’s another one she devised. She took an ordinary optometrist’s eye chart, you know the one. A whacking great ‘E’ at the top, then the writing becomes smaller and smaller the further down you go.

She and her colleague reversed the chart. They had one printed up so that the big ‘E’ was at the bottom, and the smallest writing was on top.

See, the expectation with the ordinary chart is that at some stage you won’t be able to read it, and you’re pretty sure where that’s going to be.

She was asking the question; ‘Would turning the chart upside down reverse people’s expectations, so that people believe the letters will become readable?’ Well, that’s exactly what happened.

Understandably, people still couldn’t read the tiniest letters, but since in their minds they were expecting the letters to become more legible, so they were able to read considerably smaller letters than normally they would have done.

So much of what we do or don’t do, or don’t think we’re able to do, is in the expectation. Are you a stereotype? If so, try something different. Dress differently. How we dress sends signals to other people, not just about our age, but also about our outlook on life.

How many times have you heard someone say; “Oh, I’m much too old to wear that.” They don’t necessarily mean old in years, but old in the way they think.

I’m sure we’ve all known young people in their mid-twenties who’ve behaved as though they’re well into their seventies. Or the one who says; “Oh, I’d never re-marry. I’m too set in my ways.”

Well, un-set yourself and live a bit!

This business of being a stereotype is another name for being in your comfort zone. But really, you’re just one of life’s spectators. You stand and watch it all go by. The Secrets of the Symbolic Dream Language – Immediately Understanding the Meaning of Dreams

Friday, July 9th, 2010

The unconscious mind that produces your dreams protects your mental health from the attacks of the wild side of your conscience that keeps trying to destroy your human side. By following the unconscious guidance you transform its violent and inconsequential reactions into wise behavior that belongs to your human side.

The anti-conscience, your wild side, must not understand the unconscious guidance in your dreams because it is your enemy. This is why you must learn the secret dream language.

Let’s suppose that the unconscious mind wanted to tell you that you have to stop eating so much because you are becoming too fat and you won’t be able to lose weight later.

If the unconscious mind would follow the logic of your conscience it would show you in a dream scene that you are too fat. In the next scene it would show you that you have serious health problems and you have to take medicine. In the third scene it would show you crying while eating a carrot, because you are very hungry and you have to follow an austere diet.

This way when you would wake up you would understand that you must lose weight while you are still able to control your appetite.

However, the unconscious mind cannot openly speak to your conscience because the anti-conscience would understand its messages too. It would start sending you thoughts like “only chocolate gives me pleasure in life”, to make you eat what will increase your weight.

The anti-conscience pretends that it is you, speaking in your mind with your own voice, while it is your primitive self, which you ignore. The wild anti-conscience didn’t evolve like the human side of your conscience but it is still active inside you. It keeps interfering in your thoughts, trying to mislead you and imprison you into the labyrinth of craziness.

This is why the unconscious mind has to send you messages in a secret form. In this case it would warn you with the following dream:

Your house is invaded by dangerous aliens who manage to capture you. You try to set yourself free, but this is impossible.

When you awake you’ll understand that the anti-conscience is invading your human conscience (aliens that invaded your house) and that you won’t be able to escape from its trap, since you are not able to set yourself free in the dream.

You have to figure out where you are making the mistakes that facilitate the domination of the anti-conscience. You’ll easily discover that your mistakes are related to your indifference to your weight because all your clothes are becoming too tight due to your obesity.

In the next dream the unconscious mind will show you near a swimming pool, which has no water.

You’ll immediately understand that you have stopped being irresponsible. The symbolic meaning of the absence of water indicates the comprehension of the danger that is threatening you.

Therefore, you will understand that you must be very careful; otherwise the anti-conscience will seduce you by sending you thoughts to continue eating too much without caring about the consequences of your negligence. Later, you won’t be able to recuperate your shape and good health. You’ll become depressed and have many psychological and social problems.

When you learn the dream language and the dream logic, you are able to immediately understand the unconscious messages, as if their symbolism was as simple as the one contained in the dream scenes of my first example.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to exactly translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

The Meaning of Water in Dreams – A Scientific Analysis

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

Too much water in dreams means lack of spirituality and lack of faith. It means materialism, and the doubt that there is another dimension in the human life beyond what belongs to Earth. In this case the dreamer will see a flood.

This symbolism was discovered by Carl Jung who examined many ancient documents, understanding that the water represents the spirit that instead of being composed by air, becomes liquid. The spirit becomes water when the dreamer doesn’t believe in the spiritual life.

Water is heavy and lives imprisoned on Earth, while the spirit is light and it can fly everywhere.

A flood in a dream is a serious warning that tries to awaken the dreamer. Life doesn’t begin on Earth and it doesn’t end here. The prevailing materialistic and atheistic concepts are far from being based on the truth. As recent scientific discoveries in many different fields reveal, when related one to another, the truth about the meaning of life and death is very complex. Because the scientific world of our time had not yet discovered how to identify the abstract presence of the human spirit this doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.

The scientific translation of the meaning of dreams confirms the existence of the human spirit through many ways. Since all the information we receive in dream messages is always accurate and objective, as we can verify in many circumstances, we must believe in this source of information even when we cannot verify its validity. The dream messages are accurate and valid; however, the average person is ignorant of the process required to access, channel, and verify dream content.

Too much water in a dream shows the dreamer that what is happening in his or her life is very important and has another dimension. Everything contributes to the benefit of one’s spiritual evolution.

We are not merely animals that have an ephemeral existence. Everything in our life works as a process of transformation and preparation for the continuation of our evolutionary process.

This means that everything that happens in your life has a purpose.

Therefore:

- Don’t lose hope if you are suffering, because you are not suffering in vain. Something good will arise from your pain.

- Don’t be shallow by caring only about your daily life and your obligations. You must care also about your spiritual evolution, the perfection of your personality, and your salvation from the hell of regret.

Water in dreams has a different meaning when the dreamer sees only a few drops.

A few drops of water represent forgiveness. These drops represent the cleaning effect of water. Water washes up all sins, all the pain, the dust of the past, and everything that was bad.

Usually only the dreamers who will care about seriously translating the meaning of their dreams will see water appearing in the form of a few drops.

Most dreamers see too much water in their dreams because they are too shallow and superficial, and because they are far from being able to forgive their enemies.

Only those who have enough spiritual enlightenment automatically forgive their enemies, without ever thinking about revenge.

You should learn how to translate the meaning of your dreams so that the wise unconscious mind may guide you and show you how you can transform your personality.

I simplified Jung’s complicated method of dream interpretation. Now you can simply translate images into words, immediately understanding the unconscious messages.

Thanks to this knowledge, you’ll attain spiritual perfection, complete consciousness and real wisdom.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to exactly translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.
